Hello!
I’ve been back home for about three weeks now and realized I haven’t sent out a newsletter during my entire outreach phase. My time in Georgia was truly incredible, and you’ll find more details below. I’m so grateful for all your support through your prayers as I worked to reach people for the Great Commission. Thank you!

During the first three weeks of our outreach, we stayed in a town called Marneuli. While we were there, we spent a lot of time as a team praying for the nation of Georgia. On weekends, we visited a children’s center where we taught the kids English through games and conversations. On Sundays, three of us attended a house church, and the most amazing part was that we used Google Translate for everything, yet we were still able to connect with the people.

After about three weeks, we decided to move to the capital, Tbilisi. We experimented with different methods of evangelism—some worked, and some didn’t. One approach involved walking up to people and starting conversations. Another was bar ministry, where we would go to bars, approach individuals, and build relationships, aiming to meet up with them outside the bar to discuss the Gospel further. However, our most effective method was holding posters with deep questions (e.g., "What is Love?"), which encouraged people to approach us instead of the other way around. Once we realized this method was working, we made it a daily. Through this approach, we witnessed two salvations. PRAISE THE LORD

We spent twelve days at a rehab center called Teen Challenge, a free Christian facility for those in need. During our time there, we had the opportunity to lead worship, share our testimonies, and deliver a few messages to the people in the center. Throughout the day, we also placed signs with a phone number around the area, hoping that people would see them, call Teen Challenge for help, and ultimately encounter Jesus.

Debrief was such a special time to reconnect with all my friends and reflect on everything that had happened during both the lecture phase and outreach. We had classes on how to bring what we had learned back home and apply it to life outside the YWAM bubble. My silly self thought I was listening well, but once I got home, I realized just how right they were about everything they shared during that final week of DTS (Discipleship Training School)

DTS has truly been the best six months of my life. I've grown so much spiritually and developed a deeper hunger for Jesus, a renewed passion for spending time with Him in the secret place, and a strong desire to share the gospel with everyone I meet. I genuinely encourage everyone to take six months out of their lives and simply say YES to Jesus. It will change you in ways you can't imagine.

In September, I will be moving to Kona for a minimum of two years to join the YWAM Kona Prayer Room. My heart is to see worship leaders use their gifts and skills to glorify God through creativity, while also discipling others to do the same with their gifts. In the Prayer Room, I’ll be involved in planning campus worship sets, participating in them, and teaching both young people and adults how to become worship leaders and understand the true meaning of worship. We’ll also be traveling to different Prayer Rooms around the world, serving alongside them for a period of time. I’m beyond excited about this next opportunity that God has placed in my life!
